Position Summary:
A systems engineer’s job is to design, implement, and maintain IT systems. This includes considering cyber security, networking implications, and cross system integration impacts. Well-built systems have low down time and strong resiliency. A systems engineer will troubleshoot issues when they arise and solve problems to minimize down time.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Technology Management
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems, software, and networks.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity protocols to safeguard organizational data and infrastructure.
- Monitor technological trends and recommend innovations to improve processes and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable IT regulations and standards.
Operational Support
- Provide guidance and troubleshooting support for complex IT issues.
- Ensure reliable operation of all technology systems, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Manage IT vendor/supplier relationships.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between the IT department and other organizational units.
- Communicate IT plans, initiatives, and updates effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to optimize technology solutions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems
- Experience managing cloud based and on-premises servers
- Familiarity with our software platforms including Azure, AzureAD, Exchange, Office 365, Intune, Sentinel One, KnowBe4, and Mimecast
- Strong Azure experience is favored.
- Some PowerShell, Power BI, low code, or Power Automate scripting ability

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
