Test Systems Engineer - Senior

Job Status: Position is active/funded and contingent upon acceptance by customer
Location: Springfield, Virginia (on-site)
Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Guides mid-level and junior-level system engineers performing test and evaluation across the NSG, ASG and federal agencies
- Performs testing of applications and application programming interfaces (APIs) in DevOps pipelines utilizing quality assurance measures established by the government and industry best practices.
- Performs independent integration testing on system software and hardware to determine the system’s compliance with specified requirements
- Plans and executes manual test, and automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages
- Supports technical investigation for defects discovered during test activities
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ Years of experience in systems integration and testing within large, complex environments (e.g., systems of systems, SOQ, cloud, on-prem, or hybrid architectures)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience: 4 additional years with no degree, or 2 years with a non-STEM degree).
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
- Strong experience with Agile, traditional, and DevOps development methodologies and associated testing practices
- Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience
- Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related STEM discipline
- Experience with JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee, GitHub/GitLab (or equivalent software packages), Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, and SQL
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or C2S
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages
- Working knowledge of software development frameworks

- Ability to support technical planning, risk identification, and system improvement initiatives

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines
- 16+ years w/ High School Diploma
- 14+ years with non-STEM degree
- 12+ years w/ STEM Bachelor's degree
